NHS SBS Framework

National Neurodiversity Assessments have been awarded a place on the NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism: Assessment and Diagnosis, NHS Talking Therapies and Crisis Services Framework Agreement for the supply of Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Assessments.

What is the NHS SBS Framework Agreement?

Following extensive research and market engagement NHS SBS introduced a new Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism framework of which understands the need and the urgency with this framework. Mental Health is very prevalent in the news and customers are contacting NHS SBS regularly, with waiting lists also being referenced in the Long Term Plan, the NHS 2024/25 priorities and the Lord Darzi reports, so NHS SBS are confident that the framework aligns with customer priorities and will be utilised.​

Developed with a regional structure, it facilitates both national and SME suppliers, offering a blend of solutions to customers. NHS SBS have focussed on encouraging VCSE bid for the framework which will boost partnership between VCSE and NHS along with splitting the lots into the areas of most demand - Assessment and Diagnosis, Talking Therapies and Crisis.

Who can take advantage of the framework agreement?

  • NHS England

  • ICBs

  • NHS Trusts and NHS Foundation Trusts

  • Local authorities and combined authorities

 

Further competition and direct award

When awarding a contract under this framework agreement, relevant authorities may choose whether to award the contract:

  • without a further competition (via ‘direct award’), or

  • by following the competitive process (via a ‘further competition’).

 

What does this framework agreement cover?

This Provider Selection Regime (PSR) framework agreement provides access to high quality suppliers and voluntary community and social enterprise’s (VCSE’s) offering a wide range of mental health, learning disability and autism services. These awarded suppliers can support relevant authorities reduce waiting times and increase capacity through an outsourced model.

The Countess of Chester Hospital Commercial Procurement Services has awarded a national framework agreement for the provision of Autism and ADHD Assessment Services under the Provider Selection Regime to National Neurodiversity Assessments.​

​

This framework is specifically designed to provide assessment and diagnosis services for autism and ADHD for both children and adults.​

​

This framework offers a fully compliant route for all NHS and public sector bodies with a number of suppliers across the country, including National Neurodiversity Assessments.​
